Parmigiano Reggiano – The King of Cheeses!

Kids will love our deliciously creamy Parmesan. Available in Bites and Flakes. Vegetarian option also available.

Tutto Bene Parmesan is not just any hard Italian cheese, this is the real deal. Only the best for the kids.

It is Parmigiano-Reggiano which means it has all the tradition, craftsmanship and quality you would expect from real Parmesan. And as you would expect from quality, there are no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives in our Parmesan.

Tutto Bene Parmesan is lower in salt and higher in protein than the leading brands of children’s cheese. One Tutto Bene Parmesan Bite also contains about a third of your 1-3 year olds daily calcium helping your little ones build strong bones (Read our blog article for more info).

Our Parmesan is suitable for children aged 12 months plus (and their grownups of course!).

They are great as a snack at home, on the go or in lunch boxes. Little fingers might prefer the Flakes for added fun.

Tutto Bene Parmesan is aged for 12 months. This maturing process makes the cheese softer and creamier and much more suitable for toddlers.

You can also use Tutto Bene Parmesan in cooking. Why not try it grated over your Tutto Bene pasta for a taste of Italy, or check out our recipes section below for other ideas. Why not get the kids involved in the cooking for a family mealtime experience?

It comes in two tasty varieties:

Tutto Bene Parmesan Bites, and Tutto Bene Parmesan Flakes.

Available for Retail and Food Service:

As well as our retail size 9g x 10 multipacks of Parmesan Bites & 15g x 6 multipacks Flakes, we have created a Food Service range where the same products are available as single portions in boxes of 50 or 100.

(Serves 4 – Guide only)

INGREDIENTS:

  • 50g popcorn kernels
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Italian herb seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic granules
  • 3 x Tutto Bene Parmesan bites finely grated

METHOD:

In a bowl, mix 2tbsp extra virgin olive oil, the Italian herb seasoning and the garlic granules and set aside. Place a large saucepan on a medium heat and heat 1tbsp extra virgin oil oil. Add the popcorn kernels and toss in the oil to coat them. Place the lid on the saucepan and wait. Shake the pan every 20 seconds over the heat to stop the corn from burning. The popcorn is ready when the popping slows. Shake again and remove the lid – carefully! Put the contents in a bowl and add the herb mixture and the Parmesan. Toss in the flavourings. Lemon and Pea Risotto

(serves 4 – Guide only)

INGREDIENTS:

  • 300g Arborio (risotto) rice
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped) – about 100g
  • 1 clove garlic (crushed)
  • Zest and juice of a lemon (about 70ml)
  • 250g frozen peas
  • 950ml boiling water
  • 1 tsp vegetable stock powder (reduced salt if possible)
  • 4 x 15g sachet Tutto Bene Parmesan flakes
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • Freshly ground black pepper

METHOD:

Heat the olive oil in a saucepan, add the garlic and onion and soften over a low heat. Meanwhile, dissolve the stock powder in the boiling water and set aside. Add the rice and mix until the rice has absorbed all the oil. Gradually add stock until the rice is cooked – you want the rice to absorb all the water. Add the Parmesan, peas and lemon (to taste). Cook until the peas have heated through.
