During the last 6 years I have been working with some of the best Italian Food & Drink brands as their sales agent or direct importer. On a day to day basis I run the business, dealing with all aspects, from sales and marketing, to finance and payroll. In the summer of 2016 I decided it was time to create something wonderful and I embarked upon the plan to design and develop a range of healthy Italian food and drink products. As a new parent I wanted to create a fun brand aimed at parents with young children, but with a 100% provenance of being Italian.
I am delighted to say that Tutto Bene is now real and I am excited about the future, and being part of such a wonderful new innovative healthy brand.
My position at Tutto Bene allows me to go back to Italy quite often, sourcing new products and meeting crucial supplier contacts. Having direct, face to face contact with suppliers is essential in order to develop the Tutto Bene brand.
As head of purchasing I am directly involved in all steps of the development process, from discovery to finalisation of new lines. At Tutto Bene we look after our new born products from day one; this includes new product development, tasting, packaging, logistics and everything else necessary to create the perfect final product.
This new chapter of my life is also opening my eyes and giving me invaluable knowledge of nutrition and food education both for children and adults.
I truly believe that our authentic Italian products make it so much easier to encourage young children to eat naturally good and tasty food, while our exciting ‘Let’s Make It!’ kits are reimagining the Mediterranean family cooking experience for busy UK households.
As a qualified journalist with more than two decades’ worth of experience in Features and Commercial Copywriting, Public Relations and Social Media, I look forward to supporting you with your enquiries, as well as connecting with you on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or Instagram.
Ask me anything – ‘it’s all good’!
As a Registered Nutritionist my priority is to put the public first which means ensuring I only give advice based on the consensus of scientific evidence. I am excited to see the drive at Tutto Bene for providing snacks and meals which have no added sugar and no added salt. We need to help our children develop a taste for quality food to help build habits which we want them to keep all their lives. My role at Tutto Bene is to ensure that they give their customers evidence based nutrition advice as well as offering tips on using the products in busy family life. As a mum of 2 lovely boys I speak from true family mealtime experience.
Having gained more than 18 years food industry experience across a variety of roles in both the manufacturing and retailing sectors, including being the former Nutritionist for the Co-op, Anne is now working with the team at Tutto Bene World Ltd to develop a product range that is as healthy as possible. Using a practical, evidence based approach to help make the best decisions about products and using innovative ingredients ensures the required nutrient profiles are met whilst complying with current legislation and the latest government guidelines.
